Red Clay Soul was founded June 1, 2009 by 3 young entrepreneurs who sought to bring a new element of culturally influenced entertainment to the city of New Orleans. The mission is to provide an artistic alternative in New Orleans nightlife by providing an outlet that brings together a divers culture and generation of people, enabling them to express themselves through the arts. Fusing elements of spoken word poetry and live soul music, Red Clay Soul caters to a vast demographic of young professionals and seasoned veterans in the local and national business communities.

Since its conception, Red Clay Soul has played a pivotal role in the revitalization, preservation and respect of a post Katrina New Orleans arts community. We offer great opportunities and atmosphere for networking and project building, by hosting one of the most prominent monthly spoken word/soul showcases in the historic Warehouse District of New Orleans, further supporting the city of New Orleans and its redevelopment. We understand that without the arts and culture there is no soul in the city.
